I believe in letting nature run its course. I trust that God will take me wherever I need to go…

My college journey has prepared me for this: to embrace the beauty in struggle, inclusion, and diversity. I remind myself that what I’m doing serves a higher purpose…to empower the youth, inspire the next generation, and lead with compassion and empathy.

I went to Italy to study health, wellness, and culture: I had the best time. The air quality was better, the food was healthier, and the people were profoundly more grounded.

I am learning to speak with more confidence, more certainty, and more clarity. Simultaneously, mixing & mingling with the locals offered me a taste of true Italian etiquette, language, and culture (the never-ending hustle): the desire to honor nation, community, and tradition. The commitment to family. One thing you’ll notice about southern Italy is that a lot of the architecture is very old and worn out…a timeless quality. The structures there, however, are very well-maintained, energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing to the eye (staying true to the integrity). Aside from the few sharp looks I received from small bougie shop owners, I was welcomed with open arms and warm embraces, curiosity, fresh lemon-squeezed scents and coastal breezes. I was constantly hit with the brilliant Ischian sun, absorbing all of its beautiful rays: I taste all that life has to offer.

Maiori (Campania, Italy).
Positano, Province of Salerno.

I believe in a higher power: I believe that we all come from the same source.

I chose Italy to enjoy the culture, the cuisine, and the scenery. I stayed for the experience, the promise of luxury, and adventure. I came to Italy to clear my mind: life is a journey…of endless possibilities, self-discovery, and actualization.

Grateful.
