I would like to work in the international development sector to reduce global poverty. Further in the future, I have a great commitment and dream of someday being a global enterprising woman and use business as a tool to create a better world. Indeed, I visualize myself as a person who will empower the powerless and reduce the barriers of inequality by creating a foundation that encourages STEM education to support low-income children, so that they can access quality education. I hope that the less favored children can grow up with a dream and know that people like me support their intellectual and personal development. I also believe that a cumulation of high-quality education, and activities will provide me with the optimal learning experience to make me eligible to succeed in my career goals. <i>Top 3 goals for your time abroad:</i> 1.-I would like to have a transformation in my personal and professional life by experiencing a different academic environment, gaining a global perspective, and challenging my own cultural frame. 2.-My main goal is acquiring the fundamentals to understand marketing strategies and their impact on the company’s performance, and how organizations operate, and determine the major opportunities and problems facing the organization accordingly. 3.-I would like to immerse myself in this beautiful culture and learn more about its rich history, art, food, and social norms.

In our interconnected world, global immersion experiences have the extraordinary power to transform us from within. They provide a unique journey of self-discovery, cultural enlightenment, and professional growth. My own study abroad program in Switzerland and Italy became an unforgettable global immersion experience that left an indelible mark on my soul.

Amidst the serene and tranquil ambiance of these countries, I found solace in introspection, stepping back from the chaos of everyday life. It was during these moments of reflection that I realized the profound impact of culture on international business. Through the tradition of the late aperitivo (a pre-meal drink), I discovered the transcendent power of sharing a meal, breaking boundaries, fostering connections, and nurturing a sense of community. The remarkable cuisine I encountered awakened my senses, revealing the deep-rooted culinary heritage of these nations and igniting a passion for exploration.

Beyond the delightful flavors and textures of exquisite dishes, Switzerland’s commitment to preserving its natural environment inspired me, highlighting their harmonious integration of green spaces and sustainable practices. It instilled a renewed sense of environmental consciousness, emphasizing our responsibility to protect and cherish our planet.

Interacting with fellow students at the Steger Center in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland, enriched my journey further. Their kindness, humility, and boundless enthusiasm created an inclusive environment where knowledge and personal growth flourished. Within this nurturing atmosphere, my desire for lifelong learning was ignited, propelling me towards an educational path filled with infinite possibilities.

In both Switzerland and Italy, I encountered businesses that seamlessly blended remarkable achievements with a deep appreciation for family legacies and work-life balance. Their dedication to preserving cultural heritage added depth to their success and reminded me of the importance of embracing our roots. Through their endeavors, I learned that values and traditions can be guiding forces that lead us towards greatness.

The impact of my global immersion experience lingers within my heart, serving as a constant reminder of the strength that resides within each of us.
