My stay in Madrid (June 25, 2023)

I have two more days left in Spain, and Iโ€™m going to be so sad to leave but Iโ€™ve had a lot of great experiences. Today I went to the Prado Museum, the biggest museum in Madrid. I saw so many of my favorite artistโ€™s paintings like Goya and Diego Velรกzquez. Itโ€™s so interesting and cool to see these works of art in person because Iโ€™ve written so many papers and had so many classes pertaining to the importance of their work. Itโ€™s hard to choose a favorite that I saw but I think mine would have to be Las Meninas created by Velรกzquez because it has so much going on. He constructed it very beautifully. Unfortunately, at the Prado you are not allowed to take any pictures so I canโ€™t show any of the work, but I really enjoyed myself. After my visit to the museum, I went to my favorite restaurant in Madrid, Honest Greens. I love this restaurant because the food is so fresh and healthy. I wish they had one in the United States. All in all, my last couple of days have been amazing. I got to hang out with great people which is always wholesome, and got to experience lots of art.
