Take a little time for yourself before conference sessions by joining the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) for a meditation and gentle movement session, followed by a healthy lunch. This rejuvenating session will be led by Dr. Keshia Abraham of the Abraham Consulting Agency and Lionel Foster, founder of The Baldwin Prize. Proceeds will benefit FEA Scholarships. About the Rainbow SIG:The Rainbow Special Interest Group (SIG) is comprised of diverse members of NAFSA: Association of International Educators whose goals are to counsel international students and study abroad students who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer; to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer professionals in international education; and to combat homophobia, heterosexism, and transphobia within NAFSA.
This year, the organization is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and are launching a special anniversary campaign in association with the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) to raise funds to endow the FEA Rainbow Scholarship, and to do more to highlight and feature our sponsors throughout the coming year and beyond.

Award processes for diversity, equity, and inclusion advocacy-inspired scholarships should be considered frequently to ensure inclusion and access, especially as target applicants evolve over time. This poster explores application components (financial need beyond FAFSA or demographic priorities), that incorporate advocacy best practices into scholarship administration. Presented by FEA’s Executive Director, Angie Schaffer, and Kate Bohan, Manager of Finance & Scholarships at CET Academic Programs.
