"Hello" in your host country's language: Ahoj Home Institution (your U.S. University/College): University of Washington, Tacoma Expected graduation year: 2023 Destination city & country: Prague, Czech Republic Program provider: University of Washington, Tacoma Major/minor: Psychology / Gender & Sexuality and Global Engagement Demographics: Future career aspirations: I have a wide variety of interests that ultimately are centered around the wellbeing of people. From an interest in working for the UN to the nonprofit industry to psychological research, my idea of what my future will look like seems to change frequently. However, with each idea there lies one important focus point, and that is helping people live happy and fulfilling lives. As of now I aspire to be a part of a psychological research team at a university to continue infiltrating the human aspect into every development to ensure that people (not efficiency) are at the center of everything we do. Top 3 goals for your time abroad: 1. Challenge myself to grow as a student in an uncomfortable educational environment 2. Connect with people from other regions of the world and develop lifelong connections 3. Adapt to different forms of learning in an international setting
