Anne Haberkern is the Division Director for Transfer and Curricular Innovation at Portland Community College, where she oversees education abroad, community-based learning, transfer and articulation partnerships, and curriculum development and support. She has worked at PCC since 2012 and in U.S. higher education since 1995. Prior to coming to PCC, she served as the executive director at AHA International, regional director at the University of California Education Abroad Program, and associate director of study abroad at North Carolina State University. She has regularly presented at international education conferences and has served in various working groups and committees in NAFSA and the Forum on Education Abroad. She earned her undergraduate degree from UC San Diego (French, Anthropology) and graduate degrees from Harvard (MA) and UC Santa Barbara (EdD).
