Jane Edwards is Senior Associate Dean and Dean of International and Professional Experience at Yale University. She previously served as director of International Studies at Harvard University and held a similar position at Wesleyan University.
Edwards is co-author with her husband, Humphrey Tonkin, of The World in the Curriculum and writes and presents on a variety of topics in international education. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Studies in International Education and has taught throughout her career. She serves on the Academic Advisory Council of Schwarzman Scholars, and as a Partner Overseer for Middlebury College.
She holds a BA and MA from Cambridge University, and earned a PhD in folklore and folk life from the University of Pennsylvania.
