I had my first final today! It wasn’t hard, necessarily, but it’s still draining. I have three more; two more tomorrow.

It does feel weird that, by this time next week, I’ll be back home in the US. I’m happy that I’m going home to see my family, but I think it will be hard to readjust to living at home, with all my family, not being able to just get on my bike or take a train and go places.
I live seven miles away from the main town, out in the sticks. It’s nice, in its own way, but it’s difficult to make the trip into town. I think I’ll get stir-crazy, and take a lot of walks, ha.

I am glad for the break, though. School hasn’t been grueling, but it’s sapped the life out of me. It will be nice to see my family and recharge, have fun before I have to come back and put my nose to the grindstone, again.
