Today was/is Thanksgiving in America. I’m sad to be missing out on my family and good food, but, I’ve come to terms with the fact that life just goes on.
My sister, who recently gave birth, was proposed to by her boyfriend. Again, sad to miss out on it, but at least I’ll be home before the wedding.

In less lonesome news, I’ve got a plethora of projects to work on for the last month of school.

It’s going to be a busy, busy time for me, and I’ll be glad when it’s all over. My parents, although they mean well, booked my ticket home for two days after finals end (and then my flight back arrives at night, three days before school starts back up), so I won’t get to explore Japan very much over the break. Hopefully next semester will have a smooth beginning, and I’ll be able to do more around the country then.

Kansai Gaidai is a nice school, but there are a few issues. Attendance is supposed to be mandatory, and supposedly for each class you miss that isn’t excused with a doctor’s note is a point off of your final. This causes some anxiety, and discourages students from taking longer trips, or going to events that happen at the same time.
Next semester, I think I’m just going to go with the flow, and do what I think is best for my experience.
