More About This Scholar
Pronouns: She/her
Home Institution: University of Michigan
Expected Graduation: 2025
Major / Minor: Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience / Drama
Study Abroad Location: Stockholm, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark
“Hello” in your host country’s language: Hej!
Program Provider: DIS
Identity: African American/Black, First-Generation College Student
Future Career Goals: After undergrad, I would to go to medical school and pursue a MD/DO. I’m flirting with the idea of taking a gap year between medical school and undergrad to get more research/job experience. The two fields I’m most interested in are Psychiatry and Family Medicine, but I have a lot of time to decide!
Top 3 Goals for your time abroad: 1. Networking with faculty and making new friends with fellow students
2. Continuing my journey of pursuing a school/life balance
3. Getting the most out of my academic and travel opportunities by being open-minded to new experiences
