Self Care – Movie Night

I spent the day with a friend. I ate some delicious, traditional Korean food and went to a cinema watching Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. I watched the very first Asian Marvel superhero in Korea! I am super proud to hear the beautiful mother tongue I grew up learning–Mandarin–and to see strong women figures. The big screen showed English and Korean subtitles. I knew how to read some of the Korean subtitles which is great progress! I did not know how to read Korean prior to coming to South Korea.
