FengJia Chronicles

Hello FEA!!!!!

I’m soooooooooo happy this week! It’s crazy. I have so much to share! I’ve finally been to FengJia Night Market. Night Markets are really popular in Taiwan and in Asia. I’ve been so busy with classes and other things that I hadn’t had the chance to go. So my friends made it possible for us to go. I’m so happy to have been able to share these moments together. We just had an EPIK time! We ate yummy foods and walked all around. There are so many stores and it’s so crowded. But it’s a lovely time. Night markets are the best places to shop because you bargain for everything. I was able to buy a cute bag, and she gave me 25% off. All in all, it was a really great time. The food was amazing, and you can see a few in the pictures. I don’t remember what the sandwich was called, but it had pork in it. Also, there is the traditional Taiwanese shaved ice. It’s definitely an acquired taste!

Exam week is finally over, and I couldn’t be happier. But it’s time to keep moving. My classes are actually getting better, and I’m excited to keep going. The semester isn’t over until January, but we’ll keep it going.

Today, I’m off to AliShan! It’s a mountain south of Taiwan. I’ll update when I get back!

Peace and love,

Juli
