Susan Popko

Associate Provost for International Programs
Santa Clara University

As Associate Provost for International Programs, Susan Popko promotes global engagement and provides leadership for international education at the University. As part of her portfolio, she plans, develops, and coordinates international programs and initiatives, represents the University in interactions with global and community partners, supervises the Study Abroad Program and International Student Services, and leads comprehensive internationalization of the University.

Susan plays an active role in the international education community through presentations, committees and advisory boards, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Forum on Education Abroad.  She was an AIEA Presidential Fellow during 2012-13. Susan earned her master’s degree in music from the University of York and her bachelor’s degree in music and piano performance from St. Olaf College.
