Jennifer has served as FEA’s Executive Director since 2014. She is dedicated to advancing equity, education, and support of the next generation. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with more than thirteen years of experience as a nonprofit executive, fundraiser, and educator, she’s helped grow the financial support for FEA scholarships ten-fold during her tenure.
Prior to joining FEA, Jennifer worked as Major Gifts Officer for the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Associate Director of Development, Individual Giving at Ford’s Theatre, as well as Development & Events Coordinator at the Portland French School. Additionally, she served as adjunct faculty in design history at both Corcoran College of Art & Design and Parsons School of Design. Jennifer received her BA from F.I.T., the State University of New York and an MA in History of Decorative Arts at the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, from The New School, Parsons School of Design. She’s a board member for the Center for Craft in Asheville, NC and resides with her husband, border collie, and a gaggle of teens in Silver Spring, MD.
