Nicole Vuceta

你好 Hello my name is Nicole Vuceta. I am a Las Vegas native, student at UNLV and member of A.N.T.S. Alliance of Non-Traditional Students, an organization for students who have postponed enrollment, work while enrolled, 25 and older, etc.

Coming from a place where an emphasis on education is lacking I never thought I would have a chance to get the college experience and its something I’ve always longed for. I am the first in my immediate family to attend college and study abroad. With a little determination and a lot of hard work, anything is possible.

I am beyond grateful to study abroad in Shanghai, China for a semester, through USAC, with the help of FEA. As an International Business/Accounting major with an emphasis in Chinese Language I hope to participate in an internship while abroad and obtain first hand accounting and business experience with an overseas company. This is an opportunity not only for an amazing personal journey but an extremely significant academic and career opportunity as well. I am excited to meet new people, learn about a different culture and practice Chinese language.
