FEA Alumni Council Member
As a recent UCLA graduate with a bachelor’s in international development studies, Lauren Yang greatly cherishes her study abroad experiences. With FEA’s generous support, she studied abroad at the University of Ghana, Legon, during Fall 2016. Later on, she had the good fortune of continuing her study abroad adventures at the University of Queensland through which she visited Australia and the Solomon Islands. Studying abroad enhanced not only her academic exploration, but also her personal growth. Currently, Lauren works as an administrative assistant at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, but she hopes to eventually pursue a master’s in social work. Always on the lookout for opportunities related to her interests in child welfare and sustainable, inclusive development, Lauren is honored to be a part of the FEA Alumni Council and hopes to help bring the FEA community together.
