Anthony C. Ogden, Ph.D. earned his bachelor’s degree from Berea College and then later studied at the School for International Training (SIT) where he earned his master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management (MIIM). Ogden completed his Ph.D. at The Pennsylvania State University in Educational Theory and Policy with a dual title in Comparative and International Education.
A career international educator, Ogden has been an active member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the Forum on Education Abroad, the Association of International Education Administrators, to name a few. He is also on various national boards, including the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP).
Currently the Executive Director of Education Abroad & Exchanges in the International Studies & Programs Department at Michigan State University, Ogden previously served as Director of Education Abroad at the University of Kentucky, and faculty member in the College of Education, where he taught courses on international education policy and practice within the Department of Education Policy and Evaluation. Ogden’s research interests are in education abroad outcomes assessment.
