Marathon In Japan

The moment I realized how humble Japanese people are was when I started running. Before we started everyone humbly said they were poor runners. They sure were humble.

I was invited to a “beginners friendly” marathon, I begrudgingly agreed to go. I am a poor runner at best, but was reassured countless times that most people would walk–sure!

In the end it was a great workout. It was the funniest moment to recognize a cultural difference, but it was apparent.
