Journey to India

Where to start? Iโ€™ve rewritten the first sentence of this blog a couple of times now. Iโ€™m not really sure where to begin. For starters, currently Iโ€™m on a connecting plane to Frankfurt, Germany and then after Iโ€™ll be switching planes to depart to India. To be quiet honest it still hasnโ€™t hit me yet that Iโ€™ll be living in India for the next seven to nine months. I think this will all sink in when Iโ€™m actually in the midst of all the crazy Indian traffic โ€“ going in all directions and smelling the freshly cooked curry from near by food carts.

Itโ€™s sort of crazy for me to think that these next few months will play a big role in determining what it is that I really want to pursue in the near future.  But at the moment the only thought in my head is how this abnormally large Russian man with a thick accent is blatantly starring at my screen and hovering behind my neck. I hope heโ€™s not reading this and if he is, Iโ€™d like you to know Mr. Abnormally Large Russian Man that you Sir, are taking up all of my precious arm space.

Anyhow, Iโ€™ll be spending the next few days in Delhi before my real study abroad experience starts in Mumbai. I hope to use this blog to keep in touch with you all and depending on the accessibility of my Internet service, Iโ€™ll try and update you all as frequently as possible.
