Yesterday my class took a trip to the National Museum here in Accra, it was extremely interesting. Especially the exhibits that were focused on the Northern region. Possibly the only region that I will not be able to visit before I leave. After walking around this small but well laid out museum, we sat down and watched a movie detailing the differences in certain customs from region to region. The most interesting part of this experience was seeing the differences in funeral and burial customs, not only contrasting between America and Ghana but between different regions Ghana as well.
After touring the entire museum we then went outside to check out the sculpture garden. As a fan of the sculptures and architecture here in Ghana, this was very special. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
